Welcome to Total Domination Episode 21! What a night we had recording these 50 minutes of pure chaos! You see, we had planned on doing an episode on local music, but the more we drank, the further we got away from that topic. But fret not xTDx listeners, we will legitimately let you know about some up and coming bands in our area in the near future. 

Speaking of local musicians, the other night Nick, Ryan, and I were out at a local bar (The Roadhouse on 6) and saw an excellent musician named Jason Jackson. Well as far as Totally Dominating News goes, we discuss a prom date from beyond the grave and a man who just wanted some honey.

Like I mentioned before, our main topic was going to be local music, but things got out of hand. Some things we happened to discuss were buzz ballads, Limp Bizkit, musicals, sports movies, and “night wishes.”

Welcome to Total Domination Episode 20, which was recorded LIVE on location at R Place Restaurant in nearby Morris, IL!!! Nicky was not in the xTDx mood(which is fine) and Denis, well I don’t remember why Denis didn’t record with us. While we sat in the lovely establishment known as R Place we drank coffee (and water), ate some delicious gourmet meals and discussed some lovely topics. What are these lovely topics you may ask? Well, not to spoil the entire episode, I will only throw out a few of them and leave the rest a mystery. Some of the topics discussed are Stan Bush’s infamous song ‘The Touch’, some gut-busting movies, and the new action packed thrill ride known as ‘Race To Witch Mountain’ starring the super talented Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson!

Pruane2Forever…….

There is this kid on YouTube called Pruane2Forever or sometimes Sexman…who knows. Anyways, he is the weirdest kid ever and his father his almost worst. He does these ridiculous reviews of videos games and movies and always freaks out. Also, his father always seems to be drunk and i think they both need some serious help. I am really not sure what else to say really other than to check him out. Here are a few of my favorite videos by Pruane2Forever:

Now , xTDx crew member Corey usually writes up these little reviews for each episode, (then I edit his grammar and get totally yelled at) (and then I, Corey, edit Nick’s grammar because he isn’t so perfect) but since other things in his life came up and conflicted with Total Domination’s rigorous recording schedule, he missed out this week. We run a pretty tight ship here, I don’t know if you’ve noticed this or not. Ryan also was absent from this episode, as he was attending a concert performance down in the dirty Urbana.

So what did this mean? This meant that the podcast was entirely up to Denis, myself and an assorted ensemble of special guests, some you’ve heard before and some making their XTotalDominationX debut. We discuss a lot of sweet things mature adults should care about; robots (more specifically, the transforming kind I hold so near and dear to my heart) dinosaurs, sports, adult entertainment and what happens when all of these things are forged together into an unholy hybrid creature, undoubtedly unsuited for life in this world.

The two individuals making their xTotalDominationx debut, Andrew Anderson and Michael McDowell heil from the infamous wizard rock band, Lord Voldi and the Dark Marks. They’ve played numerous Harry Potter conventions and venues where good music is appreciated. Their myspace page is here. These boys deserve a listen.

What’s up everyone out there in podcastland! This is Total Domination Episode 18, which means we are legal! The Movie of the Week this time is one we have been dying to see and now the time has finally come! The movie we are talking about is the “best worst movie of all time” Troll 2! This movie is so bad and so amazing at the same time, words cannot even describe it. Hell, the movie isn’t even about trolls or a sequel to the first troll movie, it’s just called Troll 2. We strongly recommend seeing this movie, just go into it expecting absolutely nothing. Also, if you have seen this CLIP on the internet, then you know what to expect from Troll 2!!!!

Before I write anything else, I would like to sincerely apologize for what I say about our biggest fan, Admiral Kyle Nelson, at the end of this episode. Just like we had Nick’s Story Time with Captain Morgan, well now its Corey’s Insults with Early Times. Once again, I am truly sorry and was out of line (and drunk).

Anyways, after a month of testing the waters with other options, we are back and on the attack! I am sure you missed us just as much as we missed you. We are still gonna have some videos posted on here, but the actual show will STAY a podcast. We are currently planning on making some shorts and a couple of films, so look for that on the site in the near future.

This week in Totally Dominating News we discuss a man gettin’ it on with a vacuum, a disappointing remake, and Samuel L. Jackson’s nine picture deal with Marvel.

The main topic of Episode 17 is a continuation of a topic from Episode 06, which was Monsters and Creatures. We have gathered a whole other group of monsters and creatures and determine once and for all which ones are monsters and which ones are creatures. The Movie of the Week this episode is Clive Barker’s Nightbreed. Nightbreed is about a community of mutant outcasts of varying types and abilities attempts to escape the attentions of a psychotic serial killer and redneck vigilantes, with the help of a brooding young man who discovers them.
